Aloo ke Parathy/ Potato Paratha

 

Serving = 4-5 persons

Ingredients,

  • potato  1/2 kg
  • fresh coriander  4 tbsp
  • green chili  1
  • onion 1 small
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • red chili powder  1/4 tsp
  • cumin  1 tsp
  • garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp

For dough,

  • plain flour 1 cup
  • wheat flour  1 cup
  • salt  1/4 tsp
  • water as required
  • oil  2 tbsp

Directions,

1.in a large bowl add plain flour,wheat flour,salt,oil,make a fine dough with luke warm water.set a side for 30 minutes.

3.in a bowl add boiled potatoes,salt,red chili powder,garam masala,lemon juice,cumin,fresh coriander,onion,chili.mash it well.

5.make very small balls of the dough using dry flour.

This step is very important because we are making aloo ke parathy, not atay ke parathy..:). if you don’t have scale to measure 25 gm dough ,just make a small ball of dough almost half of your finger long.
6.roll the balls,make small roti.

7.take a hand full of potato mixture place it on 1 roti.

8.take the other roti and place it on the potato mixture.press the edges.

9.sprinkle dry flour on both side sof roti.

10.roll it and make a very thin roti

11.now cook it on a flat pan or Tawa with some ghee or butter.
