Muhammara

Muhammara or mhammara is a Red pepper and walnut dip originally from Aleppo, Syria, found in Levantine and Turkish cuisines.

A dip with a different taste, texture and flavor than your usual dips. Walnut, red pepper, pomegranate molasses render a taste you will never forget. I don’t have pomegranate molasses so I am using sumac powder instead.

I must say Air Fryer is also really good in roasting vegetables.I roast this pepper in Air Fryer but you can also roast it in oven or on stove.

You can eat this dip with crispy bread slices or corn tortilla chips.
