Taryal Bhindi Sindhi style (Fried Lady Fingers)

My parents are punjabi but they live in sindh so most of our family friends and relatives are sindhi, Sindhi cuisine is awesome and easy to cook. 1 of the most common dish is taryal Bhindi is quick cook ladyfinger in 3-4 spices. In sindh people like to have it in breakfast with paratha but there is no limit you can have it any time. Its just so yum yum.

I am giving here recipe which I learn from my family,my aunties, my mom make it like this.

Serving= 3-4

Ingredients,

  • lady fingers fresh or frozen  300-350 gm
  • ginger Julian  1 tbsp
  • green chili 1 (Use more if you like spicy)
  • coriander for garnish
  • salt 1/2 tsp or as required
  • onion 1 medium
  • red chili flakes   1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder  1 tsp
  • cumin seeds   1/2 tsp
  • chat masala    1 tsp

Directions

1. cut onion very fine slices. add 7-8 tbsp oil in a pan. when its hot add onion. until onions are light golden,

3. now add chat masala 1 tsp. stir lady fingers on high heat. this way all stickiness of ladyfingers will finish. because chat masala has sour flavor that helps to reduce the stickiness of ladyfingers. You can also use lemon juice 2 tbsp if don't have chat masala.

4. now add green chilies, Julian ginger,salt, red chili flakes, mix well and on medium heat leave it for 10-15 minutes with out lid. stir it in between .
