Chickpea Crispies

Serving = makes about 2 dozen balls

Ingredients,

  • Chickpeas  boiled   1-1/2 cup  ( I used can of boiled chickpeas)
  • bread slice  1
  • green chili 1
  • fresh coriander   5-6 stems
  • fresh mint   7-8 leaves
  • onion  1 small
  • salt  1/2  tsp
  • red chili powder  1/2 tsp
  • cumin whole  1 tsp

For coating list 2

  • egg  1
  • plain flour  as required
  • bread crumbs  as required

Directions,

1. Take chickpeas can....throw all water...dry them nicely with paper towels. 2. In a chopper add onion, green chili, fresh coriander, mint. 3. Chop them fine. take out in a bowl.

4. Now chop bread slice, take out in bowl. 5. chop chickpeas in same chopper...take them out. 6. gather all chopped ingredients in a bowl, add salt, red chili powder, cumin whole. 7. Mix well . 8. make very small balls.

coat these balls first with plain flour, then in beaten egg, then in bread crumbs.
