Potato Wedges Recipe

Potato wedges are wedges of potatoes, often large and unpeeled, that are either baked or fried. They are sold at diners and fast food restaurants.They are not considered French fries because french fries are slim cut chips and wedges are big. This is the best side dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes  6-7
  • Vegetable oil  as required
  • Salt  as required
  • Red chili powder  as required

Peel and cut potatoes in thick slices. Boil them for 10 minutes.

Throw the water. Spread the potatoes on a baking tray. Coat the potatoes with 4-5 tbsp oil. sprinkle with salt and red chili powder.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 30 minutes or until nicely crisp outside.
