Fried Tikka Chicken

Tikka a most favourite dish of Pakistan … Authentic way is to grill it  but there are many other ways to make it. Baked tikka has also very good flavour. Many people don’t have both oven or grill so today I am making fried tikka Easy and simple recipe with less ingredients any one can follow it easily. 🙂

Ingredients,

  • Chicken whole    cut in 4 pieces    700-750 g
  • Ginger paste   1 tbsp heaped
  • lemon juice   1/4 cup
  • salt  1 tsp
  • Red chili powder   1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder  1-1/2 tsp

1. Mix all above marination ingredients in a bowl.

2. Give deep cuts in chicken.
Marinate it for 3-4 hours or if you have time marinate it for 1 day. Its the best marination time.

3. Now in a frying pan shallow fry these pieces. 15 minutes each side.

Serve with fresh onion salad and yogurt mint dip/podina raita …
