Ingredients, List 1
- mutton with bones 500 gm
- garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
- red chili flakes 1/2 tsp (add more if you like spicy)
- onion 500 gm
- green chili 2-3 (add more if you like spicy)
- garlic cloves 4-5
- ginger 2 inch piece
- yogurt 1/2 cup
- salt 1 tsp
- oil 1/2 cup
LIST 2 Whole garam masala
- cinnamon stick (darcheni) 1
- bay leaves 1-2
- black pepper corns 1/2 tsp
- cloves 4-5
- big cardamom 2
- whole red chilies 5
Directions,
2. take all list 2 whole garam maslas.
3. add these in mutton, stir on slow to medium heat for 15 seconds, don’t burn the spices.
4. now add garam masala powder 1/2 tsp, stir for 5 seconds.
7. now add all vegetables we cut above.
8. stir and cook on medium to high heat for 2-3 minutes, until onion slightly changes their colour… but still they are white.
9. now mix 1/2 cup yogurt in 2 cups of water, add in with 1 tsp salt , let it boil , now with lid on low heat cook it until meat is nicely tender… for almost 2 hours.
