Cumin Chili Fried Potatoes (Sindhi Style)

Ingredients,

  • potatoes   4 medium
  • salt  as required
  • coriander powder  1/2 tsp
  • red chili flakes  1/2 tsp
  • cumin whole   1 tbsp
  • turmeric powder  1/4 tsp
  • ginger  1 inch piece
  • green chili  1-2
  • fresh coriander chopped  2-3 tbsp
  • lemon juice  2 tbsp
  • oil for frying

  • 1. finely chop coriander, green chili cut in long slices , Julian cut ginger.

    2. peel and cut potatoes, apply 1/4 tsp salt , fry them until golden brown and crispy.

    3. in a separate pan add cumin and green chili with 2 tbsp oil ,turn on the heat, stir it for 10 seconds on high heat, then add crispy potatoes,1/4 tsp salt, red chili flakes, coriander powder, lemon juice, turmeric powder,ginger julian, stir on high heat for 1 minute.then add fresh coriander ,give it a final stir turn off the heat.
