Pakistani vege burger

Ingredients,

FOR VEGE PATTY
  • Potato   4-5
  • split pea/channa dal  3/4 cup
  • fresh coriander 10 gm
  • fresh  mint 10 gm
  • green chili 1
  • salt 1 tsp
  • red chili powder  1/4 tsp
  • garam masla powder  1/4 tsp
  • chat masala   1/2 tsp
  • whole cumin   1 tsp
  • lemon juice   1 tbsp
  • egg  2

FOR MINT SAUCE PLEASE FOLLOW THE LINK(yogurt mint dip)

  • burgers  7-8
  • butter  1 tsp
  • tomato  1-2
  • lettuce leaves or salad leaves as required

Directions,

1.boil channa dal/split peas,throw the extra water let them cool now in a chopper chop them set aside.boil 4-5 potatoes set aside.

3.chop onion ,add in a bowl with chopped channa dal/split peas,boiled potatoes,chopped fresh mint,coriander,green chili. 1 tsp salt,garam masala powder,chat masala powder,red chili powder,lemon juice,whole cumin.

4. mix well with hands.wash your hands before mixing or don't blame me for dirty patty... :)

5.now take hand full of this mixture and make a patty as big as your burger.

6.beat eggs cover your patty with egg.

7.shallow fry them.let them cool a bit then again cover them with eggs shallow fry them.

8.take burger toast it with a little bit of butter,toast it from inside on slow heat for crispy toasting. and in this style of burger we want crispy burger from indside that will taste good.

9.now take the yogurt mint dip drop it over both sides of burger.put vege patty and lettuce leaf and sliced tomato.
