Banana Cake Recipe
This is soft, moist and irresistible banana cake recipe. This cake has light and airy texture and lovely flavour of bananas. With just the right amount of sugar,this is from now my most favorite recipe for banana cake.
You can make different variations with this cake, add in 1 tsp cinnamon powder and you will have banana cinnamon cake. Make cream cheese frosting with less sugar and serve the cake with that.
I used 3 small sized eggs in this recipe, you can also use 2 big. I used 2 bananas of almost 225 g weight in total with the skin.These measurements are just to give you and idea of actual ingredients weight.
I bake the cake at 160 C (fan). If you have normal oven then bake it at 180 C. Baking time can vary for different ovens. I bake it for 30 minutes. First check your cake after 25 minutes and you can bake it for almost 35 minutes, depending on your oven.
