 A quick and easy homemade version of all time favourite, my easy Chicken Mushroom Jalfrezi can be cooked from scratch in under 20 minutes. This recipe is not an authentic recipe, it is my version of jalfrezi in Achari flavors.It is a delightfully flavorful curry with tender juicy chunks of chicken with stir-fried mushroom and onions and tomatoes. You can serve it with plain rice or naan.

I used National Achar gosht masala in this recipe, you can use any of your favorite brand Achari masala.

Ingredients

  • Chicken boneless  300 g
  • Mushroom  200 g
  • Oil  2-3 tbsp
  • Garlic paste  1 tsp
  • Achari Masala   1 tbsp
  • Tomato puree  1/2 tbsp
  • Greek Yogurt  1 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Green chili  3-4
  • Onion  2
  • Tomato  1
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

1. Cut all vegetables.

2. Heat a pan, add oil and garlic paste. Stir few seconds.

3. Add chicken.

4. Cook it until colour changes and all extra juices from meat evaporate.

5. Add in achari masala and stir few seconds.

6. Add in tomato puree and yogurt, mix well and cook for few seconds.

7. Add in green chilies, stir few more seconds on high heat.

8. Now add mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes.

9. Keep string it.

10. Add in onions, cook few seconds.

11. Add in tomato and salt if required. Mix well turn off the heat.

12. Achari jalfrezi is ready, sprinkle some fresh coriander, serve with plain rice or naan.
