Chicken Makhni/ Creamy Chicken Karhai

Best creamy karahi recipe I ever made … my husband, all guests and every one who eat it like it so much….chicken with creamy gravy just 1 word for this perfect 🙂

Ingredients,

  • Chicken with bones  700 gm
  • yogurt   300 gm
  • cream   200 gm
  • butter   3 tbsp
  • oil   3 tbsp
  • salt  1 tsp or as required
  • garam masala powder   1 tsp
  • black pepper  1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder  1/4 tsp
  • cumin powder   1 tsp
  • red chili powder  1/4 tsp
  • onion 1
  • garlic minced  1 tbsp
  • green chili  6-8
  • fresh coriander  as required

Directions,

1.chop 1 onion,cut green chili in strips,chop coriander.

4. add garlic and chicken,stir on high heat for 5-6 minutes it will give a good taste to your chicken and also get rid of the smell of meat.

5. now add yogurt,salt,red chili powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,cumin powder.mix well.now with lid on,on very low heat cook it for 30 minutes.

6.after 30 minutes on high heat cook it until all juices evaporates.now add cream,green chili,and black pepper.with lid on medium low heat cook it for 10 minutes.sprinkle with fresh coriander.serve hot with naan or chapati.
