Creamy Meat balls/Koftay

INGREDIENTS,

FOR QOFTAY

  • chicken mince   250 gm
  • white lobia   100gm…….almost 1/2 cup
  • cottage cheese   100gm……..almost 1/2 cup
  • ginger garlic finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • salt   1 tsp
  • onion 1
  • bread slice  3
  • fresh coriander  3- 4 tbsp.
  • green chili 1
  • garam masala   1 tsp

FOR  GRAVY

  • Skinless tomato 2
  • yogurt  4 tbsp.
  • chopped garlic  1 tbsp.
  • salt  1/2 tsp
  • red pepper powder  1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder   1 tsp
  • turmeric powder    1/2 tsp
  • cumin  powder   1 tsp
  • oil   1/4 cup
  • lemon juice  1 tbsp.
  • green and red chilies 4-5
  • fresh coriander   for garnishing
  • potatoes  2 medium

Directions,

1. in a chopper chop 3 slices of bread,add them in a bowl. now chop 1 onion and 1 green chili ,add them in same bowl.now add 1 tbsp ginger garlic finely chopped.

4. shallow fry half of meat balls for 8-10 minutes on medium heat. and freeze half of them for later use.

5.cut 2 potatoes ,deep fry them.set a side.

6. in a pan add 4 tbsp oil,and chopped garlic 1 tbsp, stir for 1 minute ,now add 2 skinless tomatoes, mix well.

7.now add 4 tbsp yogurt,1/2 tsp salt,1/2 tsp turmeric,1/2 tsp red chili powder,1 tsp coriander powder,1 tsp cumin powder,1 tbsp lemon juice.mix well.and with lid on cook it on low heat for 5-6 minutes.

8. now add fried  potatoes, and shallow fry meat balls mix well turn off the heat add green chili,and coriander. serve
