Pan Roasted Chicken Legs

 An easy and quick way of making chicken leg roast. Marinate the chicken with yogurt,tomato ketchup,lemon juice,garlic paste,chicken powder,black pepper,all spice powder and oil. Cook it in a pan for 40 minutes and done. 

You can also make this roast with chicken breast pieces or use the whole chicken cooking time may vary according to size of chicken. For best results marinate the chicken for 1 day.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Legs  2 kg
  • Yogurt  1/4 cup
  • Tomato ketchup  1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice  1/4 cup
  • Garlic paste  1 tbsp heaped
  • Chicken powder  2 tbsp heaped
  • Black pepper  1 tsp
  • All spice powder  1/2 tsp
  • Oil  1/4 cup

Wash and clean chicken legs.

Add all ingredients in a bowl.

Mix well.

Coat chicken legs in this marination and leave for 1 day or if you do not have time marinate it for 2 hours.

Heat a pan nicely, I am using a non stick pan. Place chicken legs and keep the heat on high for 6-7 minutes. We need a nice chard coating on 1 side.

Turn the chicken legs and keep cooking on high heat for 5-6 minutes.

Cover the pan with a lid and turn the heat down to low. Cook for 30 minutes and turn the chicken sides once after 15 minutes.

After 30 minutes take off the lid and turn the heat high. Let the extra water evaporate. Chicken is ready to serve.
