Ferni is Indian/Pakistani rice pudding and adding dry fruit and kewra water in it makes it Shahi Ferni. Chill it nicely before serving, it will taste best.
Serving = 3-4
Ingredients,
Rice 1/8 cup
Milk 1/2 kg
Milk 1/2 cup
Sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup
Almonds 20-22
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Kewra water 1 tbsp
Edible silver leaf for decoration
Almonds for decoration

1. Soak rice for half hour and take blanched almonds.

2. In a blender add these rice and almonds with 1/2 cup milk and blend it. Do not make paste, it should have small chunks in it.

3. Now boil 1/2 kg milk ,add condescend milk in it with rice and almond mixture. Cook on medium heat until its slightly thick.

4. Add kewra water and turn off the heat.

5. Take out in a serving bowl, chill it, garnish with almonds and edible silver leaf. serve
