Tagliatelle are a traditional type of pasta from the Emilia-Romagna and Marche regions of Italy. Individual pieces of tagliatelle are long, flat ribbons that are similar in shape to fettuccine. Coat the tagliatelle pasta with bolognese sauce and cheese, you will get the perfect tagliatelle bolognese.

  • 500 g Tagliatelle pasta boiled

  • 400 g Bolognese Sauce (almost 1-1/2 cup)

  • Fresh chopped Parsley as required

  • 5-6 Basil leave

  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese


  • Boil tagliatelle pasta according to packet instructions.
  • Follow my bolognese sauce recipe
  • In a pan add bolognese sauce, cook a little until warm.
  • Now add in hot tagliatelle , parsley, basil, cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup hot pasta water and salt/black pepper if required.
  • Mix and cook until the bolognese sauce coats all pasta.
  • Tagliatelle bolognese is ready. Serve hot.
