Imli Podina Chatni/ Tamarind mint dip

Serving= 5-6 persons

Ingredients,

  • Tamarind  250 gm
  • fresh mint leaves  1 cup
  • green chili  1-2
  • garlic cloves 2
  • roasted crushed cumin  1 tsp
  • salt 1/4 tsp or as required

Directions,

1. Soak tamarind in 1-1/2 cup water for 15 minutes. rub with fingers ,throw seeds.

2. In chopper add all remaining ingredients, with 1/4 cup water, chop them fine.

2. In chopper add mint,green chili, garlic,roasted cumin , with 1/4 cup water, chop them fine.
3. Now add tamarind paste we made above, run the chopper 3-4 times.
