A baked potato, or jacket potato. When well cooked,has a fluffy interior and a crisp skin. It may be served with fillings and condiments such as butter, cheese, sour cream, gravy, baked beans or even ground meat.

Vegetable oil as required
List 2 for filling

Baked beans 1 can
Cheddar cheese as required
Green onion for garnish

Wash 6 medium to big size potatoes.

Prick them with fork

In a bowl mix 2 tbsp salt with some water. Dip potatoes 1 by 1 in it so it will coat all sides.

Keep the grill on baking tray then place potatoes on it. Bake them in a preheated oven at at 180 C for 50 minutes.

Take out, insert a skewer inside to check they are tender. Now apply oil on them. Bake again for 10-15 minutes at 200 C.

Perfectly baked potatoes are done.

Give a cross cut in the middle with knife then push from sides. Keep a butter piece in middle. Sprinkle some salt pepper.

I am using these baked beans. You can use any of your choice. Make them a bit hot before adding on potato.

Put 2-3 spoon fulls of hot baked beans on potato then cheese. Garnish with green onion.
