Mushroom and Cheese Spring roll

These homemade Mushroom Spring Rolls are easy to make and perfect for gatherings or a light dinner.  

Ingredients

  • Mushrooms  300 g
  • Garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Green onion 4-5
  • Oil  2-3 tbsp
  • Green chili  1
  • Boiled potato 1 medium
  • Salt/Black pepper  as required
  • Cheddar cheese  150 g
  • Spring roll sheets as required
  • Plain flour for glue(salary)  1/4 cup
  • Oil for frying

Chop Mushroom, spring onion, green chili. Cut boiled potato in cubes.

Heat a pan add 2-3 tbsp oil, then garlic paste, stir few seconds. Add in green chilli stir few more seconds. Now add mushrooms and cook on high heat until all water evaporate and mushroom are cooked through.
Add in salt and black pepper almost 1/2 tsp or as required, mix well and add boiled potato and green onion. Give it a final stir and turn off the heat. Put it in a bowl let cool completely before adding cheese.

Add in cheese mix well. This is ready for filling now.

Now make glue for spring rolls.
Put 1/4 cup plain flour in a bowl add some water and mix well until its like a thick paste. This will ensure that our rolls will close properly and none of the filling will drop while frying.
How to wrap Spring Roll

Now place 2 tbsp of mushroom mixture on a spring roll and wrap it using flour glue.
