Naan

Simple and easy recipe for homemade naan. You can also make it with wheat flour.

Ingredients

  • Flour   3 cups
  • Active dried yeast   2 tsp
  • Sugar   2 tsp
  • Salt   1 tsp
  • Milk  1-1/4 cup (Room tempratured)
  • Oil   4 tbsp

1. Add all above ingredients in a bowl and knead a soft dough. Add some more milk if needed.Cover and leave it for 1 hour.

2. Now cut almost 8 pieces from it for small size naan.

3. Now roll it and with wet hands apply some sesame seeds on top of it and make some finger prints on it.

4. Keep prepared naan on greased tray.

5. Bake them in a preheated oven on 200 C for 9-10 minutes.
Take out and apply some butter on them.
Cover with clean cloth.

Serve hot with any curry you want.
