Aloo ke parathy the most favorite breakfast of Pakistani families and I love to have it anytime lunch breakfast dinner Boiled and mashed potatoes layered in flour dough then rolled to make a thin paratha. Its Pakistani/Indian breakfast special 🙂

Ingredients,

For Potato filling list 1

  • Potatoes  7-8 medium or 750 g
  • onion  1 medium
  • green chili  1
  • fresh coriander a hand full
  • fresh mint leaves  15-20
  • salt  1 tsp or as required
  • red chili powder  1 tsp
  • whole cumin   1 tsp
  • garam masala powder   1/2 tsp
  • lemon juice  2-3 tbsp

For dough list 2

  • wheat flour or plain flour   500 g
  • water for kneading
  • butter for cooking

Directions,

1. Take wheat flour or plain flour, knead it , make a soft dough, set it aside in fridge.

6. take dough, make small balls with the help of dry flour. Balls should be so small like size of a tablespoon...like shown in pic.

7. Take 1 ball, roll it, then take 2nd ,roll it....take hand full of potato filling keep it on 1st rolled dough.

10. Grease preheated tawa with butter or ghee,put aloo ka paratha on it, cook on slow to medium heat until crispy, add more butter/ghee when needed.

now for yogurt mint dip, in a chopper add a hand full of fresh mint leaves,1 green chili, 2 cloves of garlic, 1/2 tsp of cumin, now chop it with 1/4 cup of water...take 500 g yogurt...mix in ,add salt...mix well.
