Chicken Rolls

Chicken Rolls made with tortilla wraps, chicken chunks and tamarind dip,amazing hot and sour flavor.

Serving = 4-5 persons

Ingredients,

List 1,
  • chicken boneless 800 gm
  • white vinegar 1 tbsp
  • garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • paprika powder   1 tsp
  • black pepper  1 tsp
  • butter milk  1/4 cup (use yogurt if you don’t have butter milk)
List 2,
  • whole red chilies   4
  • whole cumin 1-1/2 tsp
  • cinnamon stick   1 small (1 inch piece almost)
  • carom seeds  1 tsp  (ajwain)
  • fennel seeds  1/2 tsp
  • small cardamom  1
List 3,
  • Tortilla wraps (You can also use plain flour chapatis or naan)
  • Lettuce leaves or ice burg as required
  • cucumber pickle optional
List 4 for tamarind sauce,
  • Tamarind pulp  1/2 cup
  • onion 1 small
  • tomato 1 small
  • green chili 1
  • mint leaves  12-15
  • cumin seeds  1/2 tsp
  • salt  1/4 tsp or as required

Directions,

1. In a pan dry roast all list 2 ingredients, then grind them in a grinder very fine.

9. Lightly toast tortilla wrap on a pan with little butter. or you can make your own plain flour wraps.

10. Take wrap, layer some sauce with lettuce leaves, cucumber pickle and chicken chunks.
