Arvi Karahi

Arvi Karahi made with fresh Taro (arvi) ,tomatoes, and spices.Nice and quick to make.

Serving = 4=5 persons

Ingredients,

  • Arvi  (Taro)   1 kg
  • tomatoes  2 big
  • green chilies  1-2
  • salt  1 tsp
  • red chili powder  1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder  1 tsp
  • turmeric powder  1/2 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • black pepper powder   1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice   2 tbsp
  • fresh chopped coriander for garnish as required
  • oil for frying

Method,

1. Take Arvi (Taro)...peel them, cut in small pieces.

2. Take 2 cups oil in a wok, fry them in batches until nicely crisp.

3. In another pan add 3 tbsp oil, add chopped tomatoes ,cook and stir until tomatoes are nicely tender.
