Girls Birthday Cake / Pink Gold Cake / 2 tier Celebration Cake
How to make an easy girls birthday cake? A simple recipe with step by step picture instructions. Also all links from where I bought each and every thing I have used in this cake.
This is a pink gold cake in vanilla flavour buttercream and Genoise sponge. I made this for my daughter’s 12th Birthday. I choose pink and gold combination but you can also make it in blue, purple, yellow or any other colours of your choice. You can also use silver instead of gold.
I baked a 6 inch Genoise cake for first tier and a dummy 4 inch cake for top tier. Why I used dummy cake for top tier? Because this cake I made for my daughter’s birthday and there were not too many guests coming so we didn’t need a lot of cake. But you can bake a 4 inch genoise with same recipe and use that.
For 1st Tier My Genoise Cake Recipe
For 2nd Tier I used a 4 inch cake dummy
For The Icing I made a simple and basic buttercream and colour it with Sugarflair Concentrated Spectral Food Colouring Paste Colours Fuchsia
