Meringue is a type of dessert, often associated with French cuisine, made from whipped egg whites and sugar, and occasionally an acid such as lemon, vinegar or cream of tartar. Classically these would be sandwiched together with some whipped cream. For special occasions serve them with fresh strawberries or raspberries. You can also drizzle some chocolate on it.
If you crumble Meringues and mix some whipped cream and chopped smashed strawberries it will has a English name Eton Mess.
So these Meringues are made by my daughter who is still in learning process of baking and cooking. So don’t mind the shapes but I choose these to teach her because these are extremely easy to make and kids will know to handle beater and how to measure ingredients on scale and also how to pipe well. I ask her to make these once in a week so she gain confidence to work on her own in the kitchen and also learn to handle different things.
So I think if you want to teach your kids baking. This is 1 perfect easy recipe and also if you are in learning process of baking , make these and it would be a perfect dessert every time.
Tips : Your bowl in which you are beating egg whites should be clean from any dirt and grease and also dry otherwise your egg whites would not stiff. And egg whites should be on room temperature.

- Egg whites of 2 medium eggs
- Caster sugar 100 g
- White vinegar 1 tsp
