These are minecraft sugar characters, I have made for my son’s birthday cake. I used Gumpaste for making them, and used edible pen for details and their faces. You can make gumpaste by adding 1 tsp of Tylose powder in 1 cup of fondant.Knead it well and leave it for 1/2 hour then use it.
I used blue, red, green and black and flesh food colours and you can see making them is so easy. You just need to make small cubes and rectangle with gum paste then join them together with edible glue. Then write on them and paint the faces with edible pen. My daughter made this small spider isn’t it cute 🙂 Them I let them dry overnight before putting them on cake.
I also cut this black strip from gum paste and cut these alphabets from wilton alphabet cutter set. Then I have made these small green balls and put my candles in, and let all these things dry over night before using them. You can cut and use them as it is but I feel it’s easy to do them early so you will have a nice clean finished cake.
