Shami Kebab usually made with beef boneless meat, method will be same as we are making them with chicken…but you can also make them with chicken meat and taste is really good, kids will love them, you can freeze them and can use any time for guests or snacking or you can also make shami kebab burgers with them for lunch box.
Serving=This recipe will make almost 4 dozen Shami Kabab
1. boil potatoes peel them mash them set aside.Soak channa dal for 3-4 hours. now in a pan add chicken and 4 cups of water. when it comes to boil add dal ,ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp,salt 2 tsp, 2 tbsp coriander seeds, whole red chilies, cumin seeds, garam masala, red chili powder. cook it on medium until dal and chicken are completely cooked.
3.now beat 3 eggs add these in this chicken dal mixture and turn on the heat to high. stir it and cook for 3-4 minutes. turn of the heat. let it completely cool.
6. now chop the dal and chicken mixture very fine.add this in a bowl. add mesh potatoes, add chopped onion, chopped green chilies,coriander and mint leaves. Mix all these with hands and taste salt ,add some if u need. make kababs from this mixture.
