Plain Vanilla Tea Cake

This is flavorful moist and yummy cake recipe, you can make and keep it for 4-5 days.

Serving 5-6 persons

Ingredients,

  • plain flour 1 cup
  • oil  1 cup
  • caster sugar 1 cup
  • eggs 4
  • baking powder  2-1/2  tsp
  • vanilla extract  1 tsp

Directions,

1. Preheat oven on 180C/350F/Gas mark 4. line a 9 inch baking pan with butter paper.

2. Sift flour and baking powder 2 times in a bowl.

3. In a blender add oil,caster sugar, eggs and vanilla extract... blend it until sugar devolves in it, you can also do this step from hand mixer.

5. pour all liquid ingredients in a bowl, then add flour and baking powder in it, in 2-3 batches and fold it with light hands.

6. pour the cake mixture in baking pan. tap it so all air bubbles release.
