The best chocolate chip cookies, crispy outside ,chewy inside…A kind of a drop cookies.

The most asked question about drop  cookies is why each time with a particular recipe we bake cookies ,but some time they bake nicely and some times they spread in tray….this is because the room temperature butter you start with…to fix this problem just keep your cookies in fridge for 1 hour to set them nicely and then bake them, this will ensure even baking every time.

Serving = This dough will make almost 2 dozen cookies

Ingredients,

  • Unsalted Butter  4 ounce…. 113 gm (at room temperature)
  • light brown sugar  1/2 cup
  • caster sugar  1/2 cup
  • egg  1
  • vanilla essence  1 tsp
  • plain flour  1-1/4 cup
  • corn flour  1 tbsp
  • Baking soda  1/2 tsp
  • salt  1/2 tsp
  • Chocolate chips   1-1/2 cup

Directions,

1. In a bowl add butter, caster sugar, light brown sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. The process is called creaming ,you have to do it nicely to ensure at end cookies are not crumbly.

7. Line baking paper on a tray, make small balls of dough with hands, use approximately 1 tbsp of dough in 1 ball.

8. Now preheat oven on 160 C / 325 F. arrange cookies on a tray almost 2-3 inches far from each side.

Bake them in middle of oven for 15-18 minutes. bake them in batches... take them out and let them cool on tray for 10-15 minutes.

10. Then transfer them on a cooling rack and them completely cool....
