Lahori Karahi Gosht

Serving 3-4 persons

Ingredients,

  • baby goat or lamb meat small pieces   500 gm
  • ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • tomato   2
  • onion 1 medium
  • yogurt   200gm
  • oil  1/4 cup
  • meat tedrizer powder   1 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp or as requied
  • red chili powder  1 tsp
  • coriander powder  1 tsp
  • turmeric powder   1/2 tsp
  • garam masal powder 1/2 tsp
  • green chillies   2-3
  • fresh coriander for garnish
  • ginger Julian  1 inch piece

Directions,

1. in a bowl add 4 tbsp. oil and 1 tsp meat tenderizer mix well. now marinate meat in it for 1 hour.

1. In a bowl add 4 tbsp. oil and 1 tsp meat tenderizer mix well. now marinate meat in it for 1 hour. because of this meat will cook fast and also no need to add water for ccoking……
2. after 1 hour marination, in a wok add meat ,finely slice onion, roughly chopped tomatoes, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste. mix well now turn on the heat. cook it on high heat for 5 minutes .then turn the heat to low and with lid on cook it for 40 minutes. if need add 1/4 cup water. but because onion and tomato will reduce their water ,so no need to add water in it. cook it and check it after every  10 minutes.

2. after 1 hour marination, in a wok add meat ,finely slice onion, roughly chopped tomatoes, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste. mix well now turn on the heat. cook it on high heat for 5 minutes .then turn the heat to low and with lid on cook it for 40 minutes. if need add 1/4 cup water. but because onion and tomato will reduce their water ,so no need to add water in it. cook it and check it after every 10 minutes.

 

3. chop coriander ,cut  ginger in Julian, cut green chilies very small.

4. after 40 minutes, add yogurt, chilies and Julian ginger and 1/4 to 1/2 cup oil as much you need. now on very high heat cook it until you will see the oil in the edges of the pan. you can increase or decrease the amount of oil as your choice.
add fresh coriander. Serve.
