Aloo Palak Kabab(Potato Spinach Kabab)

Aloo palak kebab or potato spinach cakes are a kind of nicely flavour potato cakes with spinach. They are so healthy and good for kids because we don’t cook spinach in them and gram flour coating give them nicely crisp outside and flavor like pakora . I usually serve them with yogurt mint dip /raita and my family love it .

Ingredients,

  • potatoes boiled  1 kg
  • fresh spinach   1 bowl
  • fresh  coriander   half cup
  • fresh mint   1/4 cup
  • green chilies 3
  • onion 2
  • lemon juice  3-4 tbsp.
  • salt   1 tsp or as required
  • red chilli powder   1 tsp
  • cumin seeds   1 tbsp.
  • garam masala   1/2 tsp

Directions,

1. cut spinach very finely, chop coriander , mint and green chilies. chop onion add 4 tbsp. lemon juice in it,leave it for 10-15 minutes, to finish the bitter taste of onion.

2. first mash boiled potatoes with hand or potato masher. now add all above ingredients mix with light hands.

3. make kababs, now if you do not want to make them now freeze them. and when you want to eat them just coat with gram flour batter and shallow fry.
4. take 1 cup gram flour, add 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp red chili powder, add a little water and make slightly thick better. now dip kababs in this better and shallow fry them.
