  • Jasmine rice   2 cups  (500 g)
  • Water  4-1/2 cups
  • Salt  2 tsp or as required


  1. In a pan add jasmine rice with 4-1/2 cup water and salt.
  2. Turn on the heat and let it boil.
  3. Once it comes to a full boil turn the heat low , cover and cook it for 15 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes turn the heat off and without opening the lid let it cover for 15 minutes.
  5. Open the lid and fluff with spoon or fork, serve.

4. When it comes to a boil ,turn the heat low and cover it with lid. Cook it like this for 15 minutes, stir in between for 1-2 times.
After that turn the heat off and with out opening the lid let it cover and sit for more 15 minutes.
