It is a Tuna steak recipe with pepper,olive and tomatoes sauce.I served it with dressed Italian leave salad and french fries.The meat of tuna fish is very substantial, you can grill it, fry it, or make stews. It is always delicious. I got this recipe inspiration from Antonio Carluccio recipes.
Ingredients
4 Steaks of tuna 400 g (100 g each)
Flour for dusting
Salt
4 tbsp olive oil
For the sauce
Garlic cloves 2
Red pepper 1
Tomatoes, skinned and chopped 2
Black olives 10
Fresh Bay leave 1
Rosemary 1 spring
Crushed red chili 1/2 tsp

Skinned and chopped tomatoes. Set a side.

Take 4 tuna steaks

Sprinkle with salt and roll in flour. Heat 4 tbsp olive oil and fry this fish for few minutes in it.

Fry until you see light colour on them

Take out and set a side.

Now same oil, add red pepper thinly sliced and stir few minutes.

Add in sliced garlic , stir few seconds. Do not burn it.

Now add olives cut into 2 slices. Tomatoes, Bay leaf, rosemary spring, red chili flakes and 1/4 tsp salt.

Stir and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes. Taste salt, add more if you want.

Add in 1/4 cup water, let it boil then place all 4 steaks of tuna in it. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

I served it with Italian leave salad. Dressed with salt, black pepper and Vinaigrette.
