Pear Puff-Pastry Tart

Ingredients,

  • puff pastry sheet
  • pear  2
  • brown sugar   1 tbsp
  • butter   1-1/2  tbsp
  • cinnamon powder   1/4  tsp
  • ginger finely minced  1/2 tsp
  • vanilla extract   1/2 tsp
  • sanding sugar   1 tbsp

Directions,

1.in a bowl add melted butter,cinnamon,finely minced ginger,vanilla extract,brown sugar.mix well.

3.butter a pan,layer the puff pastry sheet on it.brush half of butter mixture on it.

4. remove the skin of pears, cut them in thin slices.

5.layer all slices on puff pastry and butter mixture.

6.brush the top with remaining butter mixture.

7. preheat the oven to 200 C.bake the tart for about 16 to 18 minutes.

serve it hot with whipped cream or let it cool for 30 minutes then serve it with whipped cream.
