Home made Khoya

Ingredients,

  • Milk   2 liter

Directions,

1.Khoya is the base of many Pakistani and Indian sweets. For making home made khoya you need lot of patience and continuously string the milk if u leave it, it will burn from the base of pan and color and taste of khoya can be ruin.for 2 liter milk cooking time of khoya making is 2:30  to 3 hours.

2.in a nonstick pan add 2 liter milk.

3.heat the pan and when milk starts to boil reduce the heat to very low.and till end heat should remain very low.now start string the milk with a wooden spoon or basic steel spoon.remove all the milk that sticks with pan.

4.slowly and gradually milk starts to reduce.

5.after 2 hours you will see thick milk like this. but don't stop string.

7. when milk is completely dry khoya is ready.now u can use it for many pakistani and indian sweets.
