Chicken BBQ Platter 2 (Cheese Boti, Haryali Boti, Bihari Boti)/چکن باربی کیو پلیٹر(چیز بوٹی ، ہریالی بوٹی ، بہاری بوٹی )

After so much likes on my previous post on BBQ Platter, I made this 2nd platter of BBQ ..hope all of you like it as well. I am serving them with different type of chatnies…make all or any 1 of your choice.

1. Imli chatni (click here for recipe)
2. Yogurt mint chatni (click here for recipe)
3. green chatni (click here for recipe)

Serving= 4 persons

For Chicken Bihari Boti,

Ingredients,
  • Boneless chicken cubes  300 gm
  • coriander roasted and grind   1 tsp
  • cumin roasted and grind  1 tsp
  • whole red chili roasted and grind   1 tsp  (add more if you like spicy)
  • yogurt  2-3 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste  2 tsp
  • poppy seeds powder   1 tsp
  • gram powder (channa powder)  1 tbsp
  • salt  1 tsp or as required
Directions,

1. Add all above ingredients in a bowl.

For Chicken Haryali Boti,

Ingredients,
  • Boneless chicken cubes  300 gm
  • ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • white vinegar  1 tbsp
  • salt  3/4  tsp or as required
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • yogurt 3 tbsp
  • gram flour (besan) 1 tbsp
  • egg white  1
  • lemon juice  2 tbsp
  • dry fenugreek leaves  1/2 tsp
  • green chilies 2-3
  • fresh coriander chopped  3 tbsp
  • fresh mint leaves  7-8
  • onion  1/2 small
Directions,

In a chopper,finely chop green chilies, coriander, mint, onion...now mix it with all above remaining ingredients in a bowl.

Marinate it for 1 hour..or if you have time marinate it over night.

For Chicken Cheese Boti,

Ingredients,
  • Boneless chicken cubes  300 gm
  • mozzarella cheese  3-4 tbsp
  • Cheddar cheese  3 tbsp
  • egg yolk  1
  • white pepper powder  1 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • corn flour  2 tbsp
  • white vinegar  1 tbsp
  • salt  1/2 tsp (cheese have salt in it so be careful while adding salt in it)
  • garam masla powder 1/2 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
Directions,

Add all above ingredients in a bowl.

Marinate it for 1 hour..or if you have time marinate it over night. Rub it nicely while mixing it so that cheese will nicely mix in it.
Preheat oven on 180 C. Take a baking tray, keep grill on it like shown in pic. grease the grill with oil.

Now thread chicken in skewers....soak wooden skewers in water for 15-20 minutes before using them, this will prevent them from burning.

bake them for total 30 minutes....first bake for 15 minutes then take them out and flip them...again bake for 15 minutes...this will ensure even baking from both sides.

  1. Hi I made the chicken cheese chicken it did have nice taste but I think 1tbsp white pepper powder made the chicken too peppery for only 300g chicken.

  2. Is 1tbsp white pepper powder correct for 300g chicken ?turned out too peppery.

      hi zee 🙂 …if you eat less spicy then add less…but its just perfect because some of the marinade drip while cooking so adding this much will be ok
