 Pakistani Dhaba style chicken karahi recipe is one of Pakistan’s traditional style of making karahi, dhaba recipes are my favorite, I love making these,  amazing flavors with less ingredients.

Serving= 5-6 persons

Ingredients,

  • Chicken  1 kg
  • onion  1/2 kg
  • tomato   1/2 kg
  • ginger garlic paste   2 tsp
  • salt  1-1/2 tsp
  • red chili powder  2 tsp
  • turmeric powder  1/2 tsp
  • garam masala powder  1 tbsp
  • green chili   3-4
  • black pepper 1 tsp
  • cumin roasted and crushed   1 tbsp
  • coriander roasted crushed    1 tbsp
  • ginger Julian cut for garnish as required

Directions,

1. Heat 3/4 cup oil in a wok, add 1/2 kg finely sliced onion, stir until onion changes its colour.

3. Stir until you see light golden colour on chicken and onions. now add ginger garlic finely chopped and stir for 2-3 minutes on high heat.

7. now add green chilies and stir for 1 minute. now on low heat with lid cook it until chicken is nicely tender.

8. Now add roasted crushed cumin and coriander and black pepper powder. mix well.
