Fish Qofta Curry Recipe or Fish Meatballs Curry Recipe
Ingredients
List 1 for Fish Meatballs
Fish boneless 500 g (I am using cod)
Potatoes boiled mashed 1 cup
Bread slice 1
Egg 1
Onion 1
Green chili 1
Fresh coriander hand full
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Salt as required
ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Whole cumin 1 tsp

Oil 1/4 cup
Onion 2 medium
Ginger Garlic chopped 1/2 tbsp
Coconut Cream 150 g
Tomato puree 2 tbsp
Salt as required
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp

1. In a pan add fish , 1/4 tsp salt and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste. Cook it on high heat with 1/4 cup water.

It will just take 6-7 minutes of cooking. When all water evaporates turn off the heat and let it cool.

Now in a bowl add in fish, boiled mashed potatoes, finely chopped onion, green chili, fresh coriander, lemon juice, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, cumn powder, whole cumin, 1 egg and bread crumbs of 1 bread slice.

Mix well.

Make small balls. Coat them with plain flour.

Shallow fry them. Set a side.

Now in a separate pan, add in 1/4 cup oil and 2 finely chopped onion.

Cook onions until brown then add 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder. Stir few seconds.

Add in coconut cream, mix well.

Add in tomato puree , mix well and cook it for 2-3 minutes on low heat.

Add in 1/2 cup water. Cook for 4-5 minutes on low heat.

Add in fried fish meatballs. Cook them on low heat with lid on for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
