Falafel is a deep-fried ball, patty made from ground chickpeas. Falafel is a traditional Egyptian dish and Middle Eastern food. Very easy to make and I am making some spicy yummy wraps with these so do try them and give your feedbacks.
Ingredients,
List 1,
- Chickpeas 2 cups
- Onion 1 medium
- Garlic cloves 2-3
- Fresh coriander hand full
- Green chili 1
- Salt 1 tsp or as required
- Paprika powder 1 tsp
- Cumin whole 1-1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Soda bicarbonate 1/4 tsp
White Sauce for wraps
List 2,
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Tahini sauce 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Garlic clove 1 small
- Green chili 1 small
Other ingredients,
List 3,
- Tortilla wraps
- Hummus
- Mix fresh salad (carrot, cucumber, mix leaves,onion)
- Sriracha sauce or hot sauce as required
Directions,
Add them in a blender with all list 1 ingredients and 1/8 cup water.
Add all list 2 ingredients in a blender and blend.
Take tortilla wrap (I am using shop bought)
pour some sriracha or hot sauce on it. keep falafel and fresh salad on it.
Finish by pouring white sauce we made for wraps…. and some hummus if you like.
Roll them and enjoy.
