Egg Biscuits (Pakistani Bakery Style) (vanilla wafers)

Pakistani bakeries have different kind of biscuits and I love them all. They have my childhood memories and these egg biscuits were my favorite when I was in Pakistan. So today made them and wow trust me they taste exactly like we used to eat in those Pakistani bakeries. Try and tell how you find them 🙂

In USA they are called vanilla waffers

Serving = makes about 300 g Biscuits

Ingredients,

  • Butter unsalted   100 g (room temperature)
  • Icing sugar  125 g (sifted)
  • Eggs   2-1/2  (room temperature)
  • Plain flour   150 g
  • Baking powder  1 tsp
  • Vanilla extract  1 tsp

Directions,

1. In a bowl add Sifted icing sugar and room temperature butter.

2. Beat it until nicely creamy.

3. Now add room temperature eggs, 1 at a time… and beat until nicely mix.

4. Add 1 tsp vanilla extract..and add sifted flour and baking powder.

5. Beat just until mix together…do not over beat it.

6. Fill in a piping bag with round tip.

7. Pipe small drops on a butter paper.

8. Bake in a preheated oven on 160 C for 14-15 minutes.
