Laddu Pethi recipe with step by step pictures.It is a popular street food from Lahore Pakistan.These are basically fried pakoras or vadas made from moong dal and channa dal batter. However they are called as Laddu Pethi.
These laddus served with different styles of chatnies and white radish. This is a perfect combination of flavors do try it.

Recipe of Laddu Pethi
Ingredients
List 1 for dal laddu
- Channa Dal 1 cup/200 g
- Mong Dal 1 tbsp/15 g
- Mash Dal 1 tbsp/15 g
- Salt 1/2 tsp as required
- Baking soda 1/4 tsp
List 2 for Apricot Chatni
- Tamarind 200 g or tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
- Dried Apricot 100 g
- Sugar 3/4 cup
- Salt a pinch
- Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
List 3 for Tamarind chatni
- Tamarind 200 g or tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
- Fresh Coriander a hand full
- Green chilli 1
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Red chili flakes 1/2 tsp
- Cumin crushed 1 tsp
List 4 other ingredients,
- White radish as required
- Chat masala as required
- Fresh coriander
Directions,
Make sure there is no water in it before grinding.
Give them coal smoke ,this is a traditional way of serving them. I don’t have coal this time so I am serving them as it is.
