This year Ramadan 2018, I have decided to show all of you how I prepare my Iftar. What my family eat and how I mange to do it. Obviously it’s my home and like all other normal families,sometimes I do it quiet fancy and sometimes I do it normally. Some times we go out and sometimes I use leftovers. So it all depends on my mood, or what my family members are telling me to make.
So from now I will share what I made for Iftari everyday and will add that to this post 🙂
Iftar Day 1
So It’s Day 1 and I made Mutton Biryani, Aloo Samosa, Fruit Chat, Brownie, Yogurt mint Raita and Rohafza lemon drink. I didn’t follow any specific recipe for biryani today, just made it maselar and spicy.You can find lot of biryani recipes in my blog (Click here for biryani recipes). Aloo samosa I had made 2-3 days ago and freeze that.Thinking of making samosa chat but Imran(my husband) said just fry them as it is .I will have them with raita. So just fried them.Fruit chat recipe is Here. Yogurt mint raita recipe is Here, and for rohafza lemon drink, I added lemon juice in rohafza with lots of ice and water.
Iftar Day 2
2nd day of ramadan and today in my kitchen I made Chicken Lasagna(Recipe Here), Air fried chops(Recipe Here) and Air fried chips. For the sauce with chops I used yogurt mint dip (Recipe Here) which I made yesterday, and for the drink I made rohafza lasi ➡ (1/4 cup milk, 1 cup water, Rohafza according to flavour and lots of ice). Why I made these dishes because it’s my daughter’s last day of SAT test and I wanted to give her a treat with some of her favorite dishes and these are her favorites lasagna and air fried chops 🙂 .Also served these in Iftar with dates.
Iftar Day 3
Ok it’s 3rd roza today 🙂 and I made Pakoray , Chapati, Mutton curry, Banana milk shake and zeera raita ,imli chutny and serve it with some fresh fruits (pears, dates and oranges). There are so many pakora recipes in my blog (click here for recipes). For mutton curry I just cooked mutton with all spices, onion, tomatoes and in last I added dried fenugreek leaves in it. You can follow any of my mutton curry recipe (Click here for curry recipes). For banana milk shake I blend 2 banans, 2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1 cup milk and some ice. Zeera Raita (Recipe Here). Iftar Day 4
4th Roza Alhamdullillah. Today I made Chicken Onion Samosa (Recipe Here), Lahori Fried Fish (Recipe Here), Tikka masala chicken Roast (Recipe Here) , Channa Masala (Recipe Here), Yogurt mint dip (Recipe Here) and cool cool Rohafza drink.Everything was super delicious so do try them.
Iftar Day 5
5th Roza Alhamdulillah and I made it quiet simple today. Tarka Rice , Urad Dal Gosht , Kachomer Salad , Aubergine Fritters and Brownie Milkshake I made with the brownie I had made on first roza.

Iftar Day 6
6th Roza is here and today for Iftar I had made, Mutton dopyaza . Chicken Bihari boti with ready made spice mix and didn’t follow the recipe written on it. Click on given recipe below to see how I made it. Served it with a simple raita made with (yogurt+black rock salt+garlic paste+red chili powder+fresh coriander). Store bought Naan, you can also make homemade if you like. Fruit Chat and Rose Milkshake.

Iftar Day 7
Today I made British most favorite Crispy Fried Fish and served it with Air Fried Chips, to complete the meal I had made Cold Egg Sandwiches and coleslaw. For drink I made Lemonade. A nice and good choices for your Iftar table.
